About this grant

Corporate Voices for Working Families endeavors to promote understanding and support for afterschool programs within both the business and public sectors. Multiyear funding will enable Corporate Voices to continue to be a catalyst in the business community for afterschool programming; develop and distribute the first two in a series of three tool kits to help the business and nonprofit communities address afterschool issues; work with the Afterschool Alliance on a series of joint projects to broaden and deepen the business community’s understanding and commitment to afterschool issues; and conduct a communications outreach campaign to engage the broader business community.Recent accomplishments included creating and releasing a joint statement with partner companies on afterschool; co-sponsoring the Afterschool Alliance’s annual Breakfast of Champions; and holding an Afterschool Business Summit in Illinois, in partnership with the Illinois statewide afterschool network.
