About this grant

The Documenting Institutional Anti-Racism Organizing project will collect, document and disseminate the experiences of anti-racism initiatives that have been active for at least five years. For nearly two decades, Crossroads Ministry has worked to build relationships with various institutions to dismantle individual, institutional and cultural racism. However, little has been done to assess the effectiveness of one model compared to another, or to assess the long-term impacts such training has on not only individuals, but also institutions and communities.Multiyear funding will support activities that include identifying programs with an active team of anti-racism organizers that has been working for at least five years; convening a panel; developing research questions; collecting and analyzing data; and documenting and disseminating successful practices, stories and case studies.Crossroads Ministry was created in 1985 to provide anti-racism education, training and organizing with the goal of dismantling systematic racism and building effective anti-racism multicultural diversity.
