About this grant

This grant will enable the Georgia Wildlife Federation to continue coordinating a network of groups involved in the development of a statewide water management plan. In addition, the federation will directly participate in the water plan development process in several ways, such as serving on advisory committees.During the past two years, the federation hosted and facilitated membership meetings, recruited new members, enhanced internal and external communication practices, and regranted funds to member groups. The federation is the oldest and largest member-supported conservation organization in Georgia.
