About this grant

This grant will support Collaborative Communications Group in its continued efforts to support the Mott-funded “A New Day for Learning” Task Force composed of policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and educators. In the “A New Day for Learning” report, the task force sets forth a vision to create a seamless learning system with enriching learning opportunities throughout the traditional school day, afterschool, and year-round. To stimulate the conversations among key stakeholders needed to implement this vision, Collaborative Communications Group will: 1) update and disseminate the “A New Day for Learning” report and executive summary; 2) convene potential “A New Day for Learning” demonstration sites; 3) create a Web site, including a report fulfillment center; 4) share public opinion research that examines attitudes of parents, educators, and policymakers; and 5) support the “A New Day for Learning” Task Force with materials and convenings.
