About this grant
The Capital Area United Way serves residents in the tricounty area of Clinton, Eaton and Ingham. The programs it funds help more than 120,000 residents each year. In order to better serve residents, new donor management and accounting software is needed.Funding will enable the organization to purchase new software packages; develop donor base standards; train staff on the use of the new software; and convert data to the new system. The new system will be evaluated by using surveys with volunteers, donors and partner agencies and by analyzing the availability of reports. The Capital Area United Way has been serving residents for 84 years and distributes funds to more than 66 partner human service agencies.
