About this grant
The program goal is to build Michigan’s workforce development capacity at the state and regional level through a series of initiatives including development of regional skills alliances, creation of regional workforce plans, and evaluation of alternative staffing pilots as part of reshaping the Work First policy in Michigan. This grant increase will support the Corporation for a Skilled Workforce in assisting with the launch of the Mid-Michigan Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development initiative.
