About this grant
This grant will enable the Fulfilling the Dream Fund — a project of Public Interest Projects — help redefine how the U.S. addresses and works to achieve racial and gender inclusion while maintaining core democratic values. The fund was created to raise and disburse $20 million to support expanded access to opportunity for racial and ethnic minorities and women.Funding will support efforts to expand access to opportunities for racial and ethnic minorities and women. Efforts will focus on building and organizing constituencies; advocating to ensure affirmative action; conducting research in support of affirmative action and other strategies to address systemic discrimination; and creating effective communications strategies to raise the awareness of the general public.Public Interest Projects, established in 1985, advocates for issues of timely interest to consumers and the general public.
