About this grant
Mpilo Ministries Trust was created to support the work of Nobel Peace laureate and anti-apartheid activist, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond M.Tutu. Specific activities will include providing relief and assistance to indigent people in disaster situations; offering spiritual assistance to people and communities living under difficult conditions; facilitating conflict resolution among people in South Africa and elsewhere in the world; promoting reconciliation, mutual respect and tolerance among people in South Africa and throughout the world; and encouraging family stability and the building of families and communities.
