About this grant

Voices for Michigan’s Children (VMC) is a statewide advocacy organization dedicated to promoting the needs and welfare of children. It works with government policymakers and agencies, as well as businesses, faith-based organizations, community-based service providers and the media to improve the quality of life for children and their families.Multiyear funding will enable VMC to build its capacity by developing and disseminating effective messages related to the well-being of children and families; improving outreach and public education; building its visibility with a broader citizen constituency; expanding its identity and visibility with potential supporters and donors; and strengthening and diversifying its funding.VMC was established in 1992 to ensure that every child in Michigan has an opportunity to become a healthy, productive and responsible adult.
