Michigan Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the Michigan Association of United Ways in the continued development of the Michigan Statewide Afterschool Network to improve quality and access to afterschool programs for Michigan youth. This grantee is part of the third cohort of Mott-funded statewide afterschool networks. The Michigan Statewide Afterschool Network is committed to providing statewide leadership to build and sustain high quality afterschool programs. This renewal is an innovation grant, which continues to provide core support to the network, while also encouraging new ideas designed to build or enhance positive systemic changes that further policies and practices for school-based/school-linked afterschool programs. Each network receiving an innovation grant is expected to share lessons learned and products with the national network of statewide afterschool networks.
