About this grant
This grant will support United Community House, a project of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The project will be carried out by United Way Belarus and will provide information, training and consulting services to encourage cross-sectoral partnerships between non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and governments and business.Multiyear funding will enable the United Way Belarus to provide information through its Web site; offer training to new nonprofits and advanced courses for NGO representatives; and conduct a monthly series of roundtable discussions on a variety of themes for representatives from all three sectors.The UNDP, the global development network for the United Nations, advocates for change and links countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people improve their quality of life. UNDP is active in 166 countries.
