About this grant

The Women’s Self-Employment Project (WSEP) provides financial services and entrepreneurial training programs to low-income women in the United States. Since 1986, WSEP has been assisting low-income women in the Chicago area to increase their economic self-sufficiency through self-employment and micro-enterprise development. Funding will enable WSEP to implement an 18-month financial management plan that includes strengthening core programs in business services, financial services and policy; refocusing and growing core competencies and services; and rebuilding its financial asset base.
