About this grant
This grant will enable ISED Solutions to conduct a five-year, longitudinal evaluation to determine the long-term impacts of the Michigan Individual Development Account Partnership program. While it has been proven that given opportunities and incentives low-income families can save money, acquire assets and take strides toward achieving self-sufficiency, there is little information on what happens to participants after purchasing an asset. Multiyear funding will support activities that include collecting data; conducting participant surveys and in-person interviews; maintaining a secured Web site for participants; and preparing various preliminary reports analyzing data and findings. The final comprehensive evaluation report will be prepared and peer-reviewed in year five.ISED Solutions is a national nonprofit that provides research, evaluation and consulting services to help public and private agencies more effectively serve low-income and low-wealth populations.
