About this grant
The Virginia Organizing Project is a statewide grassroots community organization that is multicultural and multi-issue, addressing the concerns of poor people and distressed communities. Member organizations of the Virginia Organizing Project have a track record of success at the local and regional levels, and they have seen several significant accomplishments as a statewide organization. This grant increase will support the general purposes of the organization, including the involvement of a Michigan-based community organizer in the documentary and training video on community organizing and community organizers.
