About this grant
This grant will enable the Institute for Sustainable Communities to continue the work of the Center for Community Philanthropy, established in 2004. The center provides information resources, facilitates networking, conducts research and analysis of the field, and encourages mutual learning among community foundations and other community philanthropy organizations in Ukraine.Multiyear funding will support the center’s efforts to design and fund research on community philanthropy in Ukraine; create professional networks; develop communications tools; serve as a clearinghouse for best practices; build the technical capacity of Ukrainian practitioners; and produce replication models such as tool kits, training programs and public outreach activities.The mission of the Institute for Sustainable Communities, founded in 1991, is to "help communities around the world address environmental, economic and social challenges to build a better future shaped and shared by all."
