About this grant

Based in Atlanta, the Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper Fund is a leader at the local, state, and regional levels on water management policy reform efforts. With this grant increase and associated grant period extension, the riverkeeper will continue its work to help implement water-use plans for the Atlanta region, put into practice the recently adopted statewide water management plan, monitor proposals for new reservoirs, and network with partner organizations that share an interest in the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint rivers basin.
