About this grant

This grant provides continued support to the National Association of Elementary School Principals Foundation in its efforts to increase principals’ awareness of how afterschool complements school-day learning. Funding will also support the engagement of elementary school principals in ongoing conversations about their potential role in implementing concepts in “A New Day for Learning”, a Mott-funded report dedicated to helping individuals responsible for the well-being of children and youth, rethink methods of learning using afterschool as a resource. This grant will also enable the grantee to provide symposiums, workshops, and tools principals can use in working with their schools and communities.
