Rethinking Time and Learning: Dissemination of "A New Day for Learning"

About this grant

This grant provides continued support to the George Lucas Educational Foundation to create practical tools for enabling action related to the Mott-funded Time, Learning, and Afterschool Task Force report, "A New Day for Learning". Specifically, video vignettes and accompanying materials will be developed and available online to facilitate dissemination and local adaptation of exemplary afterschool/extended-learning programs. In addition, new web tools will be designed to increase the accessibility and usability of products as well as using multiple web-based media platforms to further disseminate resources. This will allow teachers, administrators, afterschool stakeholders, and other interested parties to gain a firm understanding of the necessary steps to realize the vision described in "A New Day for Learning".
