About this grant

This grant will continue to support GMMB, Inc., to develop and implement a communications strategy aimed at educating policymakers on the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program and afterschool programs. This project will: 1) strengthen the narrative that afterschool programs provide valuable enrichment opportunities that increase academic achievement; 2) highlight the unique role of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers’ funding stream in providing innovative enrichment and academic opportunities for young people; and 3) provide strategic communications counsel and support for the Foundation’s initiative to promote best practices for afterschool and expanded learning opportunities.
