About this grant
In January 2007, the Mott-funded Time, Learning, and Afterschool Task Force released "A New Day for Learning" report, which calls for the alignment of school-day and afterschool resources as an opportunity to develop a comprehensive learning system that provides students with multiple ways of learning throughout the day and year-round, anchored to high standards and aligned to educational resources throughout the community. This grant to GMMB will support the development of a multiyear social marketing plan, implementation of first-year activities, and the launch of an advertising campaign to build broad-based support for action on achieving "A New Day for Learning" in America. The advertising campaign will engage a number of strategies to increase public support and action for the concepts embodied in "A New Day for Learning".
