Arkansas Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support Arkansas State University which coordinates the Arkansas Statewide Afterschool Network. The Arkansas Statewide Afterschool Network will focus on building capacity for long-term success and advancing systems change for afterschool and expanded learning in Arkansas. Over the next three years, the network will support the development of policy, partnerships, and funding to benefit youth in afterschool and expanded learning programs. The network’s specific initiatives will include: 1) implementing a communications strategy to promote afterschool in Arkansas; 2) providing standardized professional development opportunities for afterschool practitioners; and 3) expanding the quality improvement models for afterschool programs.
