About this grant
This grant will support the Marshfield Clinic Research Institute which coordinates the Wisconsin Statewide Afterschool Network to continue development of policy, partnerships, and funding to benefit youth in afterschool programs. The network’s specific initiatives will include: 1) increasing communications activities to build public awareness about the importance of afterschool; 2) developing a comprehensive plan to increase resources for afterschool programs and the network; and 3) developing tools and resources for afterschool programs on trauma-informed care, adverse childhood experience, and behavioral guidance.
