About this grant
GreaterGood South Africa promotes a culture of giving in South Africa by connecting givers with good causes. It provides online giving facilities to the public and connects social investors to the development sector to strengthen civil society and promote social change. Over the last two years, the grantee continued to develop innovative ways to encourage responsible giving by the public and private sector and to build knowledge sharing between the private sector and nonprofit organizations. Activities over the next year will include refocusing and simplifying the online giving facility by partnering with organizations that specialize in online giving, consolidating all online activities to provide comprehensive information that is meaningful to those interested in the development sector, and providing support to nonprofits to enhance their ability to attract financial support and other resources.
