About this grant
The mission of the European Madariaga Foundation is to advance the European Union (EU) model of regional integration and cooperation by providing platforms for dialogue between the public, private and nonprofit sectors. The Euroserve Programme was created to act as a catalyst to develop partnerships involving donors, the EU and citizens around the main areas of concern to the European Madariaga Foundation – conflict resolution, health and environment, and research.Multiyear funding will enable the program to convene people, gather and analyze data, and translate research findings into policy initiatives; create a knowledge base of innovative approaches and a dossier on best practices; build coalitions of learning and research institutions, citizen associations, foundations, businesses, and EU and international institutions; and develop partnerships with national governments and individuals. The European Madariaga Foundation was established in 1998 as an initiative of the former students of the College of Europe and bears the name of the founder of the college, Salvador de Madariaga.
