About this grant
This grant continues support to the National Network for Arab-American Communities, a national program of the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services. The goal is to encourage strategic philanthropy in the Arab-American community through research, training, and technical assistance; outreach activities; provision of donor services; and development of informational materials. For the next two years, focus will be on expanding outreach activities, developing toolkits for donors and professional advisors, increasing donor services, developing an online resource center, creating youth philanthropy programs, initiating giving circles, and implementing a public awareness campaign. A leadership circle of Arab-American philanthropists will continue to provide overall guidance and develop a plan to institutionalize and sustain the program.
