About this grant

“Nonprofit Quarterly” was launched as a national journal in late 1999 as a publication of Third Sector New England and, in 2006, spun off into an independent publication. Since 2008, “Nonprofit Quarterly” has transitioned from being solely a quarterly print journal to include an online presence with an interactive Web site offering free daily annotated newswires, weekly newsletters and advice columns, and periodic trend alerts. The mission of “Nonprofit Quarterly” is to promote an active and engaged democracy. Online, it is a source for information and dialogue about democratic activism. In print, it is a serious management journal, which is research-based but geared to practitioner use. General purpose support will be used to maintain and further build “Nonprofit Quarterly” as a critical resource for nonprofits, philanthropy, and the social sector.
