About this grant
This grant renewal will provide project funding for the Aspen Institute’s Economic Opportunity Program to continue to advance the domestic microenterprise field toward greater sustainability. During the first year, the Aspen Institute researched and documented a set of key findings with respect to nonprofit sustainability, which are relevant to microenterprise development. Based on this research, the proposed work is designed to provide critical tools and knowledge to both practitioners and engaged funders. In addition, the grantee will provide ongoing staff support to a group of funders interested in supporting the domestic microenterprise field.
