About this grant
The work of the Aspen Institute’s Economic Opportunity Program has been crucial in determining the attributes of promising practices in the micro-enterprise industry. This grant will enable the program’s Advancing Sustainability in Microenterprise project to continue disseminating the publication, "Opening Opportunities, Building Ownership: Fulfilling the Promise of Microenterprise in the United States," and provide ongoing staff support to an emerging group of funders interested in supporting the domestic micro-enterprise field. The goal of the project is to build the sustainability of the micro-enterprise field by providing critical tools and knowledge to both practitioners and engaged funders.
