About this grant
The project goals are to increase the participation of young refugees and displaced people in all aspects of decisionmaking and social life in Serbia and to strengthen the grantee’s capacity for effective research, analysis, and advocacy. To this end, Group 484 will promote the rights of forced migrants and engage young people in communities to work actively with young forced migrants. During 2014-2016, the grantee will strengthen local-level programming that empowers and engages young people in building an open and inclusive society, provide training and practical experience in intercultural dialogue to students in university education and social work and policy programs, and engage with peer organizations at the national level to promote better policies and practices in the field. Group 484 is based in Belgrade.
