About this grant
Currently, there is a large population of refugees and displaced people, known as forced migrants, throughout Serbia and Montenegro. This grant will support a series of activities designed to promote the rights of forced migrants and actively engage young people in working with forced migrants at the community level. Group 484 was established in 1996 in response to the influx of a large number of refugees from Croatia to Serbia and Montenegro. The name is derived from the founders’ first organized assistance to 484 families from Croatia. Its mission is to promote solidarity, cooperation and tolerance in Serbia and Montenegro and the region as a basis for building civil society.
