About this grant
The goal of the Network for the Affirmation of NGO Sector – MANS is to combat corruption, reduce poverty levels and promote sustainable development in Montenegro by encouraging good governance and public participation in decisionmaking processes.This grant will enable the network to carry out a range of activities to raise awareness about mechanisms for public participation in decisionmaking processes; build the capacity of the nonprofit sector to be a vehicle for greater public participation; and monitor implementation and enforcement of specific anticorruption regulations.The network – based in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro – is a leading organization in the fields of advocacy, monitoring and capacity building in Montenegro. Recently, it became the Montenegrin partner for Transparency International.
