About this grant

The Seventh Generation Fund is a national organization providing technical assistance, training, convening, and consultation to Native American people in six issue areas: arts and cultural expression; environmental health and justice; building alliances between the Native American people of North America and South America; youth leadership development; protecting sacred places; and economic self-reliance and sustainability. Seventh Generation Fund, which began participating in Mott’s Intermediary Support for Organizing Communities program in 1990, received its final grant for that purpose in 2005. This general purposes grant is intended to enable the organization to phase out of its role in the Mott-funded program without disrupting its work on behalf of the Native American communities it serves.
