About this grant
The Tiger Woods Learning Center is a state-of-the-art, technology-enhanced facility that seeks to combine positive youth development and high quality education in a variety of career-oriented, out-of-school programs targeting low-income 4th to 12th grade minority students in southern California. This study will help the Tiger Woods Foundation, its partners, and other community development and educational institutions better understand the value of a unique out-of-school curriculum rooted in science, math and language arts. Information from this study will be used to improve and expand programs, and aid in disseminating lessons learned and resources for the broader afterschool field.
