About this grant
This grant will support After School Matters and its partners in convening local jurisdictions to develop actionable citywide strategies leading to improved outcomes for high school youth. Specifically, select cities will partner with experts from across the country to increase the availability of high quality afterschool programs that are aligned with high school improvement strategies by creating action plans. The proposed efforts are a continuation of the work begun by After School Matters, The Trust Corporation, Boston After-School and Beyond, and their intermediary partners in the Collaborative for Building After-School Systems in which two national conferences were held to improve the alignment of high school afterschool with school reform.
