About this grant
This grant increase will allow After School Matters and its partners to continue their work in improving the design of high school afterschool programs in order to help increase the graduation rates of urban youth. This project strives to advance the work begun by After School Matters, The DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation, Boston After-School and Beyond and other partners to build awareness and support the alignment of afterschool with high school reform strategies. Specifically, this grant increase will support the development of a national policy and advocacy strategy that supports coordinated resources and quality programming for older youth.
