About this grant
This grant will enable the Capital Community Foundation to assemble an advisory group comprised of 15 influential and wealthy individuals; engage 20 financial advisors in recommending the foundation to their clients; develop links with companies by managing their funds and programs; learn from best practices in the United Kingdom and the U.S. in the area of fund development; and increase the foundation’s assets over the next two years.The foundation’s mission is to improve the communities of London by supporting people’s ideas and initiatives. Created in 1995 as the South East London Community Foundation, the foundation changed its name and its area of benefit to the whole of London in 2004.
