About this grant

This grant will enable the BORIS Association – Support Office for the Movement of Social Initiatives to assist in the transfer of knowledge between Polish and Russian non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the areas of activating local communities, developing social marketing, and increasing philanthropy and social investment. The project will focus on the regions of Mazowsze in Poland and Nizhni Novgorod in Russia.Activities will include training seminars, study visits, internships, implementation of local community projects, technical assistance, publications on best practices, a project evaluation and a final conference. Results of the project will be broadly disseminated in both countries and are expected to lead to other partnership projects between Russia and Poland.Established in 1999, the organization’s mission is to encourage NGOs and public institutions to better respond to the needs of their communities in Warsaw and surrounding areas.
