About this grant
The Community Foundation of Greater Flint (CFGF) serves a vital role in the charitable and nonprofit community in the Flint area. Recently, it completed a strategic plan that will continue to build upon strengths, as well as focus on new and critical issues in the community. As a result of the strategic plan, the organization will need to relocate to a larger office. This grant will provide funds to offset the increased occupancy costs that will result from CFGF’s office relocation. To combine the need for more office space with the goal of supporting the redevelopment of downtown Flint, CFGF is moving into a renovated building on South Saginaw Street.CFGF, founded in 1988 through the merger of the Flint Public Trust and the Flint Area Health Foundation, works to improve the quality of life for people in the Greater Flint area.
