About this grant
This grant will enable the National Youth Employment Coalition to continue to work with states, communities, and other stakeholders to expand education options for disconnected youth. Over the past two years, the grantee has engaged in a multifaceted effort to help build the capacity of systems and organizations that serve struggling students and disconnected youth. During the next phase of this effort, the grantee will convene a series of peer-to-peer learning exchanges to encourage local and state leaders to develop better strategies for serving disconnected youth and intensify efforts to inform national policy discussions to place the needs of such youth more firmly on the nation’s agenda.
