Building Capacity and Informing Policy to Better Serve Disconnected Youth

This grant will enable the National Youth Employment Coalition to continue to help build the capacity of youth-serving systems and organizations to serve disconnected youth. During the most recent phase of this project, the grantee served as a resource to those working to expand education options for disconnected youth by facilitating peer-to-peer learning exchanges through publications, convenings, and providing technical assistance to policymakers, member organizations, and other stakeholders. Recommended support will enable the grantee to build the evidence base for expanding quality practice to serve disconnected youth and inform national policy discussions at the state and federal levels.
