About this grant
This grant will support the National Summer Learning Association in its efforts to explore how afterschool and summer learning programs can create seamless results-based systems of learning for children and youth through common goals around data, quality, and access. The grantee will: 1) develop and promote a research agenda to demonstrate the role that connected afterschool and summer learning programs play in accelerating education priorities; 2) identify and translate research and best practices on afterschool and summer learning into actionable tools for policymakers, educators, and statewide afterschool networks; and 3) build awareness and capacity of key stakeholders to expand access to high quality afterschool and summer learning programs through publications and trainings.
