About this grant
This renewal grant provides funds for the Genesee Area Focus Fund and its supported organization, the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce, to conduct economic development and education initiatives. The economic development goals for the chamber are to attract new jobs and investment, retain existing firms, introduce and improve products and services, and strengthen partnerships. The goal of the education program is to serve as the voice of business for workforce, training, and education initiatives that result in a trained and educated workforce. Additionally, the grantee will serve business needs by linking education programs with the business community.
