About this grant
This renewal grant provides partial support for the Genesee Area Focus Fund and its supported organization, the Flint and Genesee Chamber of Commerce, to continue to deliver economic development and education and training services to the Greater Flint area. The Flint and Genesee Chamber of Commerce aims to increase business investment, industry diversification, and job creation through its business attraction, retention and expansion services, and entrepreneurial assistance activities. In addition, the grantee helps to enhance the area’s economic competitiveness and quality of life by providing the community with workforce education, training programs, and special initiative projects.
