About this grant
PLATFORM has been active with the international network of nongovernmental organizations working to reform international financial institutions and private banks’ lending in the energy sector. During the past grant, the grantee assisted communities in Africa and Central Asia to address the impacts of energy projects in their countries, which led to changes in national policies on oil and gas contracts as well as greater transparency. Through this project, the grantee will bring its expertise to assist international nongovernmental organizations’ efforts to reform global investment in oil and gas development.
