About this grant
This grant to Voices for Utah Children will continue to support the development of the Utah Statewide Afterschool Network in its efforts to develop, enhance, and sustain innovative, high quality afterschool programs and policies. This grantee is part of the fifth cohort of Mott-funded, statewide afterschool networks. This project will continue to provide core support to the network, while also encouraging new ideas designed to build or enhance positive systemic changes that further policies and practices for school-based/school-linked afterschool programs. In addition to continuing its work in building the field of afterschool in Utah, the network will create a comprehensive afterschool and community school professional development system to ensure high quality programs that meet the needs of a diverse population. The network will share lessons learned and products with the national network of statewide afterschool networks.
