About this grant

The NGO Forum on ADB has advocated for sustainable development and policies that are fair and beneficial to local communities and the environment in the Asian region for nearly two decades. It works to improve public participation, access to information, and good governance in the Asian Development Bank. Its capacity building activities have helped to infuse diverse expertise in its member organizations in order to change regional and multilateral development bank policies, including the promotion and improvement of the Asian Development Bank accountability mechanism. This renewal grant will support the organization’s overall goal of strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations and affected communities in the Asia-Pacific region. These groups will seek to improve the Asian Development Bank policies, projects, and programs that impact the environment and their communities. To achieve this goal, the organization will carry out research, advocacy, and capacity building programs.
