About this grant
MI*Voice, based in Detroit, Michigan, is a coalition of faith-based community organization. Together, these organizations represent more than 120 congregations in five counties working together to address issues of common concern, especially those impacting state land-use policy. With prior Mott support, the grantee helped build an informed constituency of Michigan residents supporting improved policies related to land use and public transportation. With this grant renewal, the grantee will continue working to increase public engagement in transportation reform decisions, in part by providing technical assistance to groups and citizens and by participating in statewide coalitions.
