About this grant
This grant increase will allow the National Council on Alcoholism and Addictions, Greater Flint Area, Inc., to finalize a programmatic merger with Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties. Late last year, the National Council on Alcoholism and Addictions, Greater Flint Area, Inc., transferred its outpatient substance abuse prevention and treatment services to Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties. While the Mott Foundation’s original grant helped to offset transition and relocation expenses of the merger, this increase will cover the costs associated with dissolving the National Council on Alcoholism and Addictions, Greater Flint Area, Inc., including accounting fees, legal services, and other outstanding obligations.
