About this grant

The New York Regional Association of Grantmakers is a membership organization of foundations, corporate-giving programs, and other philanthropies in the metropolitan New York region and beyond. This grant increase supports the Diversity in Philanthropy Project, an initiative designed to advance strategic interventions for equity, diversity, and inclusion in philanthropy. While the project is designed to be time limited, the promotion of diversity and inclusive practices must be carried forward by leading philanthropic sector infrastructure groups and networks. The grantee has therefore expanded the project’s scope to include a fieldwide, multiyear, strategic planning process. The initiative will help strengthen the diversity work and leadership of five anchor organizations on this issue in order to support them in carrying this work forward over time.
