About this grant
Based on a variety of conversations and initiatives currently under way, the field of philanthropy appears to have renewed interest in tackling the question of how to increase diversity and inclusion within philanthropy. This project has undertaken a field scan in order to identify, describe, and assess existing resources for supporting and training diverse staff in philanthropy, as well as to seek resources that help organizations more effectively understand and utilize diverse perspectives. Renewal support will allow Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors to finalize and test the report with the field, disseminate to key audiences, and undertake additional communications work, including possible op-ed type essays and two monographs that address important issues related to diversity in philanthropy.
